1055 Another Year

I guess this page is kind of appropriate. This week will mark the twelfth year of Bohemian Comics.

    I’m not into New Year’s celebrations. It’s just an arbitrary calculation. I’d much rather celebrate something real- like Juneteenth does.

    Grace, I looked up “Hogmanay” in Wikipedia. It seems OK. It’s nice to get together with neighbors. Isolation isn’t healthy.

    In my 20s I used to love going to big New Years parties at hotels and night clubs. But in my 30s I like staying in and just reading or watching a movie, looking at the time, saying “huh, it’s New Years.” and then going to bed.

    I don’t want to harp, but I hate cold, dark, and winter, so it would take a momentous event to make me want to celebrate in that time of year. I’ve always felt this way.
