In stories like this, the pill is never effective. Apparently the only true birth control in dramatic stories is if the couple are actively trying to have a baby. (Babies are always supposed to be surprises, ever thought out and discussed like most real life pregnancies) So I’m calling it- Steph’s birth control didn’t work and she’s carrying Emrys’s baby.
And, getting back to the webcomic, what would be the strangest for this crowd would be two of them in a solid, adult, and outwardly calm relationship. The potential for group drama would be endless.
