If today's comic seems a little light in content, it's probably because it is. I wrote all the comics from last last weeks' to #1100 to finish the chapter and realized I was one shy. All the other comics coming up to the end of the chapter are of Beth and Emrys so I snuck today's in at the last minute. Stay tuned for the end of the chapter though... it's a doozy!

Thing is, Annabel WAS willing to give Devon a second chance… at the New Years Eve party. True, she was tricked into going there by Jojo, but she was up for talking to Devon… and then Devon blew it by ditching EVERYONE, not just Annabel, to go have a threeway with her crush.
I know it hurts but, since it seems Devon still doesn’t know what she wants, Anna is best to leave Devon alone until… probably Halloween? What month is it in-universe? If Valentine’s Day is coming up, things could get messy.

Most people find that alcohol makes them feel better, and in a way they like to feel. However, too much can lead to a loss of control, both physically and emotionally. I’m reminded of the Fischer-Z song “No Right” which includes these lyrics: “You have a right to get drunk out of spite.”
