#115 After the Dust Settles

Well, here it is. The final installment of the six part history of Mark and Shannon (as well as some others). Over all it was interesting to do and it felt good to flesh out the characters, but I'm not sure I'll be doing this type of thing too often. The artwork was okay to experiment with but I'm glad to be getting back into the style I've come to enjoy(brush inks and bright colors). Hope some of you enjoyed it out there as well. Now that the past has been established, I can feel more confident moving ahead with the plot lines I have in mind for everyone. Oh, and you can look forward more humorous moments returning as well. (unless, of course, you never thought the strip had any humor in it at all, in which case... not a big disappointment.

    Great writing– I like getting some backstory on these guys, and excellent wrap-up in the last few panels today. I do prefer the “regular” art style, but I think a stylistic break to differentiate between past and present works well. Nicely done– I check in every posting day, and look forward to much more!
