And here we go with a brand new book/chapter. And yes, I will be giving equal time to all the characters. But...leaving on such a cliff hanger, the first characters I'll be focusing on will be Emrys and Beth. (for the first five or six pages anyway). But you can be assured everyone will be given equal time throughout the chapter.

    Well, after the big ordeal to get those two together, I was hoping that Emrys and Beth would fade to the background during the “honeymoon” phase of their relationship and the post-epiphany Stephanie would be seen in passing during the other characters arcs, clearly noticing them but not knowing if she should attempt to make contact based on how she treated Emrys and, by extension, them. From the way you foreshadowed how the next chapter is about to go down, I’m kind of now expecting Steph to show up on Beth and Emrys’s first date, and Beth to just lay her out. I hope that doesn’t happen and we see a side of Stephanie that can make us actually sympathize with her. If we can start sympathizing with Emrys’s MOM, there’s definitely a chance we can with Steph, since she was actually encouraging Emrys to pursue his passion for art, but her method of lining up a soul crushing job for him in the hopes that he’d get promoted to the art department was a really bad call.

      I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised on what goes down with Stephanie.

    Great road trip wrap up, Eric! It must have taken a good long while to put those pages together, but they turned out great, especially the ambient lighting for each panel, you really have a knack for conveying mood with it.

    I’m happy to hear there will be something other than a ‘riding off into the sunset’ style send off of Beth’s & Emrys’ new relationship, because that would feel a little artificial “sit-com happy ending” to me, but I’m also glad to hear that all of the other characters will have arcs in the next chapter. It has to be tough juggling that many characters around and giving each their moment in the spotlight, so I appreciate the effort you put into giving us more than just background characters. Telling that many stories in one cohesive chapter is a Herculean task, but one you seem to manage adeptly. I think I’m looking forward to the new chapter almost as much as you, maybe even as much as Gorbi. 😉

      Thank you. Emrys and Beth still have a bit of things to work out, so no riding off into the sunset for them.

    I agree to both the above statements. I’ve been lucky to have seen him a couple of times in concert.
