#473 Call it a Date

Ah! Intermission. Well we've come to the part of the story where we'll have to pause for two weeks. Yes, I'll be on a (small) hiatus as I take my wife and kids to Hawaii for a much needed vacation to celebrate our 20th anniversary. But the site won't be completely dark. I'll be posting the next two Monday's with some bonus features and illustrations until I return. Starting with a sneak peak of the newest installment of those has-been heroes, The Deflectors! Issue # 2 will be on sale starting at Rose City Comic Con Sept. 8-10th then on the Bohemian Nights store at Storenvy right afterwards. But come back Monday for a look at a couple of pages to whet the ol appetite. Speaking of Rose City, that's in just a few short weeks! Both Andrew MacPhee, the artist for the second issue of the Deflectors and myself will be there -a rare treat to be sure. If you're anywhere in the northwest, please come down! We'd love to see you. I'll have 1st and 2nd issues available as well as a few Belligerence comics as well. And of course, tons of Drinker's Hell games! The place is going to be packed! But somehow I lucked out. My table in artist alley (Table E3) is right next to an entrance. So it should be easy to find. So come on down. This may be my only comic con all year!! That's it for now. Enjoy the bonus posts for the next two Mondays and I'll be back here in two weeks (September 4th) with all new Bohemian Nights comics. (We got to see how Emry's date with Stephanie turns out, right?)

    Emrys! Throw caution to the wind and go on a date with the gal and find out what happens! I’m living vicariously through you here too, so make it a good one, okay? 😀

    I hope you have a great vacation and a great con, Eric! I wish I could make the con and say “thank you” for sharing your comic in person, but I can’t make it this year. Hopefully next year though, assuming of course that all of this hullabaloo about the solar eclipse (8/21/17) isn’t “The End Of The World!(TM)” like the media keeps yammering on about. 😉 It’s just a periodic astronomical event you numbnuts; stop trying to scare people! 😛

      I wish you could come too. I’d love to meet you. But I’m at Rose City every year so maybe we can meet next year. 🙂
      (I haven’t heard any news that the eclipse marked the end of the world. I thought that already happened last November…)

      Me too. With a little luck, I hope to find a convention down in the L.A. area next year. (Not San Diego). -fingers crossed.

    Well. This development may suck for Beth, but imagine the chaos if her and Emrys had just gotten together and this bombshell showed up. Beth would be absolutely GREEN.
