Well, after over two weeks I'm finally starting to feel like my old self. Took longer than I thought, but here I am. When writing these recent comics, I realized Emry's mom hasn't been given a name. (at least, I don't think I ever named her). Any suggestions?

    Also, you have a little typo in panel 1: I think Dave means “ropes Emrys back”

    Not sure on names for the matriarchal figure in Emrys’ life.

      Fixed. This one can be explained–original script called for him to say an ottoman, but damn that would have been a lot of poop. So changed to a coaster at the last minute. 😉

    Given that Emrys is an archaic if not ancient Brythonic name, I’d suggest a browse through the Mabinogion.

    I was going to suggest Jean but Geraldine might be superior.

    Names I’d suggest – Doris, Denice or Diana – as all are related to me and both are fitting for their really garbage behaviors and tendencies to use those around them without remorse or consideration of what they might be asking.
    I mean when one of them tells you to go back to Iraq and stand really still as to allow the snipers to shoot you dead because the insurance money is worth more than what’s standing there in front of them? yeah. It really happened and I’ve not spoken to them since. However, that’s just one example and it’s on par with what I see Emry’s mom doing in a way.

    Or you could go with the “Silence of the Lambs” option and use a creepy version of Clarice.

    How about Agatha? Or, maybe Edna?
