Memories are all we have when we get older, so it’s important to have good ones to lean on when times are troubling. The saying goes that the one constant in life is change, but if you have a solid foundation under you, metaphysically speaking, you’ll always have something to carry with you that you can rely upon.
Wisdom comes with experience, good and bad, and should be valued accordingly, even if it comes from elsewhere. I’ve avoided mistakes learning from others and am glad for it, though I admit there’s advice I should have taken when I was younger. To keep this on topic, I don’t recall if it’s been discussed before, but it seems like Mateo is sort of the de facto “leader” of the group. Whether by his personal responsibility or charm, I don’t know, but it seems to me that he generally proves worthy of the unofficial role. 🙂
I’ve always seen Mateo as the groups leader a little. Obviously not all the time, but he does have that smooth, charismatic quality about him along with that ‘let’s get this done’ attitude.

Always keep three things in your life, good friends, good fun and bail money!

Is Mia gonna become one of the group?
bohemiannightsthecomic
Perhaps in time. It’s still too early to tell if she’s going to be here for the long haul or it’s just a serious point in time of their dating.
