    Female singer bands are popular too. For Example Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil, Unleash The Archers or Arch Enemy.

    Not knowing anything about this Marshmallow Steamshovel and whether it was real or not I googled it and discovered there was a band under that name who put out a single in 1968 called Mr. Mold. Is this some sort of shout-out or a coincidence?

    The whole reason I googled them was to figure out how the members look. If the lead singer is a man, having a female voice around to switch things up from song to song might be interesting. Also having counter melodies is always fun instead of just sticking to harmonies in the background, and having them be male/female helps them stand apart.

      If there was a band back in the 60’s with the same name, it’s a coincidence. Besides, the readers voted for the name. The band will be all new with different characters.

    Does the band already have a lead singer? I’m wondering how this “packaged deal” will affect the band. I hope Mia doesn’t turn into a Yoko. We really don’t know much about her other than she can sing and is romantically as well as professionally involved with Mateo. She hasn’t even met the girls yet!

      Edit: Mia has seen the gang, but to my knowledge she hasn’t been FORMALLY introduced to them…

    Mateo continues to impress me. For a ladies man, his surprisingly loyal…not that I blame him in the least, Mia is a cute gal. 🙂

    Panel 3, please fix dialogue. Should be “your guitar playing”, not “you’re”—-(you are).
    You had it perfect in the rest of that conversation.
    The other one I caught is just plain funny. Panel 6, I believe should be “guitarist”, not “guitarart” XD
    I enjoy this comic and I would not bother with a critique if I did not.
    You do excellent work and I hope you take this as it is meant, in a constructive way.

      Thank you. I fixed them now.
      I honestly had everything correct in Word when I wrote it, but my damn fingers must have had a mind of their own when I typed it into Photoshop. Which seems to happen a lot if I lay down the word balloons late at night.
