Okay.  New year just around the corner. Time to clean up some dangling plotlines in this comic that have been dragged on for far too long.

    Sounds like she’s found a pattern that she’s afraid to change, so it’s created a self fulfilling cycle of dissatisfaction.

    What if they get to know you, Shannon? What if you actually meet a man who will treat you as a whole person and not just a warm sex toy? I know that sounds glib, but it isn’t meant that way, it’s a serious question and I think it’s what Beth is driving at. You really are simultaneously selling yourself short and any potential men who might interest you, which is really hilarious coming from me, but that doesn’t make it any less true. Find a little happiness for yourself, Shannon. Have yourself a Merry little Christmas. 🙂

    I think you are all right. There are aspects of Shannon that fit with everything said here. A very complex person indeed.
