we all remember those days

I guess I’ve always been an outier to that particular childhood background, because I can’t really relate to anything she’s talking about, at least not in a literal fashion (didn’t smoke, skip school, cheat on tests, etc.). Then again, I only had a very small number of friends growing up, so I suppose I learned from an early age how to entertain myself when we didn’t get together to do stuff.

I can see both good and bad things evolving from one’s high school friendships.
For one thing, nicotine is an extremely addictive drug and I find it amazing that so many people, especially young people still consume it. On the other hand, I am sure many true long lasting friendships are begun in those early years, and that’s definitely not just a trivial benefit.

I like the smile on her face; it’s cute and has been missing for far too long, Emrys, so do something a bout it, okay?
