#585 What’s in the Box?

Back from Jet City, but since I'm posting this well in advance of the weekend, I can't tell you how it went. (Gee, I hope it went well). To any new readers, welcome! I hope you enjoy the show. And to my loyal older readers I just want to say thank you. Without you, I'd be just some lonely guy sitting in front of my computer until late in the night with my only audience being my two slightly crazy cats insisting that, since I'm up, they should get fed a second time. And if you missed me at Jet City , you still have one more chance this coming weekend in Eugene OR. at Eucon comic con. (I might be drunk or hungover or both one of those days).Ā  Come see me before I go into a self imposed exile next year. Finally,Ā  just one last reminder and normally I would shy away from such political talk but the time has come to cast your ballots! Tomorrow...VOTE! I don't care who you vote for just so long as you participate. It's something everyone needs to do. It is your right. Vote like your life depends on it. ...because it does!

    It was fun meeting you and Andy at Jet City Comicon, Eric! In hindsight I probably should have picked up one of those custom drawn covers Andy was working on, but it was probably a good thing I didn’t since my nephew managed to get me to spend very nearly all the cash I brought for the event! šŸ˜‰ I hope I wasn’t the only one to stop by and even if I was, I hope you had a good time. If you ever make it up here again let me know and I’ll see if our schedules match up so I can buy you and Andy lunch or dinner. Maybe hanging out with celebrities will be good for my image. šŸ˜‰

      Thank you, Allen. The lady in the picture next to Mark is Collette, one of the original friends who was mentioned here and there in the flashbacks way back around 112-118 (?). Jeff is most likely the one taking the picture. šŸ˜‰

      Hahaha. Yeah, most of the time they just lie near my feet. On occasion, one of them will suddenly decide to walk on my drawing tablet while I’m trying to draw just in case I forgot they existed.
      (so I get to blame them if a picture isn’t quite that good…)
