Okay, after a brief hiccup the comic is back. Onward to another long night with the cast.
As I was drawing these recently, I began to wonder if Bohemian Nights was ever made into a movie or a mini series, just who would play some of the characters. Just for fun kinda daydreaming. A strong contender for me for Beth would be Maisie Williams. I think she's the right look, (height) and temperament that would play Beth very well. Also way back when I first created BN, Jeff was greatly influenced by Seth Rogen and I think he would be perfect for that spot...if we traveled back in time a bit. Unfortunately, I think he's a little too old for the part now.
So...any other ideas for cast?

Wow, that must have been SOME paycheck if she could afford the downpayment on a new car, even if it is used. I have to agree with Beth’s sarcasm about the convertible though, because when it really rains here in the PNW, there’s not much keeping you dry with one of those things.
As for who would play these characters? I’m not really familiar with young actors anymore, as most of the current TV shows and movies I watch have all middle-aged are older characters usually (not exclusively mind you, just to my recollection). None stand out in my mind, but I’m sure there are some talented actors under 30 who could do them justice. As the author of this tale though, only you really know their voices and personalities well enough to make an informed decision. Regarding Maisie Williams, I’ve only seen her in GoT and she seems like a kid to me, ever after her time in Bravos, so it’s hard for me to think of her as a twenty-something and not a teenager. I know that’s just the role, and my comment isn’t a knock against her skill as an actress, just that I’m old enough to be her father so she’s always going to look young to me. Sad, but true.
Maybe Kaitlyn Dever for Beth? I’ve seen her in a few shows (Justified, Last Man Standing, The Mentalist) and she’s definitely the right age (22), height (5’1″) and is a skilled actress, but her voice might be wrong, though I know that she can project both kidlike and no nonsense, don’t mess with me or mine (or I’ll gut you like a fish) qualities, so she has the range. I’m just not sure how she’d look as a blonde.
Trying to figure out any others would take a lot more time, but if any come to mind I’ll try to post them. 🙂

Although Maisie is also 22, I like your choice of Kaitlyn Dever. I was unfamilliar with her until you mentioned her but she does have that round pixie like face that would be perfect. Good choice. 🙂

what about Jared Abrahamson as Emrys, Dave, or Rich? i mean, he’s talented enough he could do justice to any of them.
and maybe Jamie Clayton as Annabel? i know, she’s older than the characters are supposed to be, but if Ally Sheedy and Judd Nelson could play high school kids in one of the most significant movies of my teens, why not? and she’s tied with Natasha Lyonne at the top of my list of disappointingly heterosexual actresses who play awesomely hot lesbians, so just let me have this one, okay?

If we are going for original cast than I think Abrahamson would make an excellent Dave. But I can also see him as Rich too. Yes, Jamie Clayton would make a very good Annabel. Give her a British accent and some hipster glasses and we got it. 😀
I do like Natasha Lyonne -not for this but wow, I really think she would make a perfect Stevie Nicks if they ever decided to make a Fleetwood Mac Movie.
Grace
wow, yeah, she would, wouldn’t she!

If I were her, I’d save the “French Tuck” for when it’s over 89 degrees. 🙂
