  2. Wait, so comic time it’s November 28? Or is it some other Holiday that’s celebrated with preparing more food than your number of guests could ever consume in a single sitting? Anyway, the quick glimpse at the world as it is after the ‘goodbye’ party, Annabel is still feeling the ‘betrayal’ and seems to be slipping into a rather dark space, one can only hope her friends can help keep her from becoming a ‘ghost’ of herself. The quick giggle from the ‘in-laws’ bit (helped lighten the mood from Annabel and closing with a promise of honest affection (and a good bit of cardio we can hope).
Really nice pacing on this page as well. Thanks!

Correct. Each chapter roughly falls into one season of time (or about three months) -The year is arbitrary.
This is mostly so I can use events in that season (like Thanksgiving here -although technically, that would be Autumn but….) As well as draw the season in the background. You will also notice that the characters will dress more warmly in the fall and winter chapters and more lighter in the spring/summer chapters. This mechanic also progresses the character’s ages as well (although more slowly than real time).
Thus Chapter 3, the last time it was winter, Mark and Shannon went to her parents home for Christmas and then there was the big New Years Eve party.
Chapters 5 and 6 were a combined Summer chapter where they went on a summer road trip.
    etc. etc.
Thank you for the complement on the page. With so much heavy stuff, it’s nice to just have a little time with the characters just being themselves.

    1. When someone asks about the year, borrow the phrasing of Blue Oyster Cult: “In the year of our Lord A.D.”
(From “The Golden Age Of Leather”)

  4. Way to go, Jeff. ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy Thanksgiving to the Bohemian crew, hopefully they all take time to appreciate what they have and worry less about what they don’t have at the present time. Life is full of ups and downs, so it’s important to be thankful for the good times and people in our lives. ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Uh-oh, Devon isnโ€™t there. Thatโ€™s not a good sign.
