    So I’m imagining now that the gang will take Emrys’s mom’s stuff to her new place, mom saying “Thank you. Have a good life… without me” and Emrys volunteering to stay… just as his mom planned.

    Beth better make one hell of an argument to convince Emrys to come back with her and the others because the Parental Guilt Trip is a VERY powerful weapon. As it stands right now, Mom has a clear edge because she at least KNOWS what she wants- her son as her servant.

      Thank you. In all honesty, it makes me feel the same. A fair amount of this is taken from my own history. It’s been a little hard revisiting it.
