  1. Oh Annabel, you are breaking my heart here! 🙁

  2. That’s not a good start, Devon.

  3. While I appreciate the personal growth that Devon had to go through just to make it this far, that’s courageous on it’s own, I do think she should express her feelings more explicitly if she wants a chance of healing the rift. This is one time where stream of consciousness ‘babbling’ can actually work to your benefit. 🙂 Annabel needs reassurance that Devon has learned from this experience and the best way to show it is to explain just how the whole thing has impacted her life and why she’s determined to make amends, even if it means their partnership is over and their friendship is unrecoverable. I don’t know that Annabel would be that cold, but Devon has to really put in the effort here, and that’s going to hurt. Catharsis is worth it though.

  4. Thracecius couldn’t said it better. Hopefully both are willing to open up about their feelings and the conflicts of their relationship.

  5. I agree with Thracecius too. Anyone can say those two words “I’m sorry” but to prove it, one must make amends. If Annabel’s requirements for those amends are too demanding for Devon, then they will need to split and look for someone else.

  6. great choice for the page title! “maybe i don’t quite know what to say/but i’m here in your doorway”

    1. I listened to that song a lot when writing/drawing these scenes.

  7. In response to the rest of the comments here, (without giving much away), sometimes people have a hard time opening up beyond just saying I’m sorry. (Devon). Some people have a hard time moving on from the past (Annabel).
Will they be able to meet in the middle?

  8. @Gorbi, it’s pronounced “Woos-ter-shir”The “oo” is like the “oo” in “foot.”

    1. In Czech it’s simply “Worčester” XD

  9. @Gorbi, “Brevity is the soul of wit.” 😉

  10. Oh no!!! Devon is going to have to deal with reality and accountability? How cruel! How awful! The poor child. I expect tears next. And deflection.

  11. I think Devon’s communication skills are limited. Perhaps her relationship with Annabel can be saved if she says something like “Please just give me one more chance. I won’t let you down again.”
