    Wow, Stephanie os positively GLOWING, which is what I heard all pregnant women do.

    I’m betting she’s pregnant with Emrys’s kid. There’s no other reason for her to be THAT desperate to talk to him.

    I’m not saying she’s pregnant, but CLAIMING to be pregnant is a very old strategy.
    A full medical checkup is not unreasonable…
    …& refusing to have sex before the checkup is justified by “not wanting to risk hurting the baby”.
    A DNA test is justified by “a family history of difficult births”, so the sooner we know of any possible trouble, the better.

    It’s okay Emrys, talking is fine. Maybe you can help her put her life on a better track, but don’t let her manipulate you into saying or doing anything you regret. If she wants to makes amends, learn how to control her behavior so it doesn’t hurt her or others, then it’s a worthwhile endeavor, just so long as you clearly set boundaries and stick to them.
