    Oh how horrible! I hope she doesn’t die. I agree with Gorbi, it CAN get worse. That’s why we say “even worse.”

    Who is that shadow in the distance? Could it be???

    Hmm. I think someone tampered with that railing, either that or it’s just really bad maintenance. They seem underdressed for January in Portland when it’s snowing, but maybe it got colder while they were drinking? Also, Mark G has the Eagle Eye spotting the shadow in panel six, so hopefully it’s the Green Man.
    Hope Beth will be okay! Hypothermia is a real danger in the PNW, so hopefully Emrys and Beth are good swimmers!
