   I’d like to say that from the slightly slapstick origins of this strip, you and the strip have matured being able to handle a difficult current day situation with grace, nuance, and sensitivity. Congratulations, my friend.
   The artwork is improving constantly too. The expressions of the characters, their body language, and the hand talk are becoming simply amazing.

      the important thing for everyone to remember in a situation like this one, regardless of the relationship, is that life *does* go on. It will be different, but it will continue, change again and again, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse, but it will keep going on until we join our loved ones in whatever flavor of afterlife you choose to believe in (or oblivion, if that’s your preference). The tough part is reminding yourself to remember them as they were and not that they are gone. Their immortality starts with you. 🙂
