1079 The Final Puzzle Piece

BUCKLE UP, BUTTERCUPS!

This here is just the beginning.

After over a year of laying down sub-plots here and there, now the big picture can finally be revealed. (...but more to come)

This should be a fun, if a bit different, story for BN.

  1. Okay, Beth’s boss being the father of her romantic rival was a surprise but it was believable given the clues about him… but Mr. Talon being RICH’S boss… thaaaat’s really stretching it. So is Mr. Talon’s business just a front and he’s really a drug lord? Or is he like the Kingpin in “Spider-man” and he’s a full-on organized crime mafioso?

For some reason I’m reminded of the Hobgoblin episode from Season 1 of the 90s cartoon where the Kingpin is at a ground-breaking ceremony and he tells his assistant Smythe that he has to always remain “public spirited” so no one suspects how he made his fortune. Apparently if you donate half your wealth to philanthropy, no one looks into your business dealings.

  2. Well this explains a thing or two, in fact, this explains a lot.

  3. Weeeeell, … … … shit.

  4. Well this explains why the last receptionist left suddenly. At least Beth won’t be deceived by Rich’s charm. That’s all I see for a silver lining in this situation.

  5. I did not see that one coming, but that explains how so much is messed up with Stephanie and her father.

Eric, you are telling one heck of a plot twist with this one! 😀

  6. Funny – if this had been a superhero comic book, we all would have instantly known that “Talon Enterprises” was up to no good. But since this hasn’t been that kind of story (till now) I never saw it coming. Nice one.
