Special thanks to to Jennie Breeden of The Devil's Panties for letting me draw today's cameo appearance of her characters. I figured that now that her comic is set in Portland, it stands to reason that her characters and mine just might bump into each other. (At least I like to think so...) Jennie and Obby are two of the nicest people I've met at the conventions so far, and I always look forward to being a stone's throw away from them at the artist's tables (--or in our case, a donuts throw away). And if you haven't been reading her web comic... -What the fuck is wrong with you? She has got to be one of the most prolific comic artists out there. Her comic, the Devil's Panties has been running seven days a week for the past fourteen-plus years now. I have no idea how she keeps coming up with clever daily observations (or the stamina to draw them all).  The comics have a sharp wit to them and the illustrations are whimsically wonderful.

Oh, and for those of you (yes, you and you over there) who were at my first Wizard Con panel over a year ago, yes, that was me sitting next to Jennie as we discussed web comics. (Actually, Jennie eloquently discussed web comics. I, on the other hand, sat there like a doofus pretending to know what I was doing. -Thanks for big assist that day as well, Jennie)IMG_0036Jennie and Doofus
