#654 Heavy Heart

I hate to do this, but... As long time readers will know, I take two weeks off a year from the comic. One in December and one sometime in the summer.(and sometimes an extra week at the end of a book chapter.)  Well...next week is that week for me. The family and I are driving to Yellowstone for a week. So next week is going to be dark. (Kind of. I do have a small extra thing to post Monday but not the comic itself.) In any case, this seems like the perfect point to pause just before we dive into a lengthy retelling of Beth's past. I've been waiting to finally show this for ages. Plus some rather interesting stuff afterwards too. Also, as a result, the Patreon bonus comics may be a little late as well (coming out mid August instead of the beginning of the month). Have a great summer. See everyone back in a week!

    Have a great trip! I’ve been wanting to go to Yellowstone for a long time, just never seem to have the time or money for it.

    I’m glad Emrys reached out and Beth accepted, because that’s what friends do for each other. Even if these two don’t end up together, I hope they stay friends, because they’re at least compatible enough for that sort of relationship. 🙂
