Speaking of  last minute plans, It looks like I’ll be traveling to California for the next two weeks to see friends and family that I haven’t seen in almost five years. I usually take a week off or so in the summer but this time there’s no way of getting out of two weeks. What that means for the comic is a slight hiatus. I know. I’m sorry. I’m also anxious to finish the road trip storyline so I hate the pause as much as everyone else.  I hope you’ll forgive me for going dark for the next two weeks, but it’s been over five years since I’ve seen friends and family.

-Well, ‘going dark’ is not exactly true. I do have a very nice surprise come next Monday in the form of a guest post which I think turned out amazing. Written by myself and illustrated by published humor artist extraordinaire, Andy MacPhee in a hilarious attempt to catch up everyone new to the comic with the saga of Emrys and Beth. I think you’ll enjoy it.

As for the Kickstarter going on, I’ll be in constant contact while I’m away and posting updates. (I’ll probably be doing the same here, too). It seems my ambitions for a large print run may need to be scaled back a bit. It was a nice way to get a great per book price but if the Kickstarter doesn’t meet its goal, I’ll try again with a smaller print run. One way or another I’ll get it printed. Still, it’s thirty percent funded and I still have twenty days to go so…it’s still quite possible.

So come back Monday for the special guest post and I’ll have a new comic up July 5th with about twenty more comics to go to the end of the storyline.
