#888 As the Drama Turns

As we end the birthday party evening, the rest of Patreon supporter Robert Merkstallinger's appearance is now shown. Originally it was supposed to be two consecutive comics but after careful review of the script, I realized I needed some more additions to flesh out the story better. Thank you very much for your support and I hope you enjoyed your appearances in the comic.

I know I say this a lot, but I do mean it: thank you all for your support in the comic and your understanding in the scaling back of its postings.

April's Midnight Edition will be up in the next day or two.

  1. Well Robert, you should know that truth hurts 🙂

And Eric, we all like you. So please, do not feel sorry for necessary slow down. Especially when it is due to health issues. Healthy Eric is Happy Eric 🙂

  2. Small OT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nOepNKeGSA I am from Mladá Boleslav, where Škoda cars are produced and this vid made me go “What in actual fuck????” 😀

  3. Is the RSS feed working? I realized I missed a bunch of updates because they don’t show up in my feed. The latest panel showing up is 875.

That’s about the time I had to switch over from Comic Easel to Toocheke for my website. I’ll see what I can do to fix it.

  4. Hope you’re doing better, dude. Say “Hi” to everyone for me!

  5. It was great “getting to know you”, Robert! It was a lot of fun seeing your guest appearance and I’m wondering, does it feel like you’ve been hanging out with celebrity personalities? 😀
Eric, that was probably the best reader guest appearance I’ve ever seen in a comic, so kudos to you for making Robert’s role pivotal, yet not in a way that will make his absence from the rest of the storyline obvious. It makes me want to figure out if I can manage to do the same. 😀

    1. Well, it has been quite some ride 😉
And that last Panel, that really could have been me….

  6. And that’s the cue for Stephanie to show up and tell Emrys that she’s carrying his baby, as required with every soap opera…

  7. @Corey C.
Either that, or reveal she is Beth’s evil twin. They were separated at birth and Stephanie is back to take everything from Beth because she was abandoned and got nothing.

  8. Sounds like Stephanie could use some advice from the green man.

    1. I need a real life Greenman too 🙁

  9. The trouble with all psycho-active substances (commonly called “recreational drugs”) is although they bring short-term happiness, they often create long-term harm. Alcohol is no exception. It’s hard to resist short-term happiness though. Nevertheless, long-term happiness is something worth making the effort to achieve.
