   There’s probably a joke about spirits in there somewhere, but I just spent hours trying to explain “humour” and I’m not up to making it.

   I like how he doesn’t wear clothes, but he has a hat that seems permanently attached. 😀 And you -know- that these two have known each other awhile when he can make a comment about her ass and she doesn’t even remark on it. Granted, that’s the closest thing to a compliment you’re likely to get out of an imp (crass is probably the closest thing to ‘polite’ he can manage), but I still found it funny and in character. I don’t have to worry about anyone complimenting me on my butt though, so your mileage may vary on that opinion. 😉

   Looking forward to see where this all leads! 🙂

   I’ve always liked Drake. I find he’s the perfect smart-ass side-kick. Too bad he didn’t fit into this comic. But he will be back elsewhere.

   …Unless Annabelle has a secret demonology hobby she hasn’t shared yet, and becomes Drake’s new summoner. Wouldn’t that be an ironic twist?

   Hi, a (fairly) new reader here. I discovered this comic a little under two months ago and have been steadily going through the archive since. (The newest comic is no. 1118 right now and here I am at no. 536, so almost halfway through.) I don’t do the “archive binge”-thing of reading multiple hundred pages in one day, it doesn’t do justice to the work you put into creating those pages. Instead I like to take my time reading a good comic and really get into the story and the characters.

   Anyway, I wasn’t planning on commenting until I reached the current page, but I just couldn’t pass this one without saying:

   You drew the expression on Devon’s face in panel 2 perfectly! Not crying because she understands that he has to go, but still so sad that he is actually going. Together with the dialog and the entire setup, that expression really transfers the emotions to me and now I feel sad. That’s a major feat for a comic artist to be able to influence your reader’s feelings like that! Congrats!

   (And then along comes your alt-text about having to watch him masturbate and ruins this truly emotional moment for me… Aargh!)
