1071 why?

So sorry for the delay.

It's been a busy weekend marching in the streets. But I set the comic to go live next Monday instead of today. And once at work today, I couldn't change it until I got home.

So here it is, better late than never.

  1. Perhaps it should not, but this page made me laugh 🙂

  2. I agree with Beth getting pissed at Devon, but I think she gave up too easily when Devon said “you would’ve done the same!” Beth DID do the same thing in Vegas but she was able to stop herself before things got too far (though it did help that Robert 1’s wife texted in the middle of the date.) so I think Beth has the moral high ground. I think Devon is just being a prideful idiot. She KNOWS she f-ed up but won’t publicly admit it. And I think this might lead to more consequences than just a guilty conscience.

  3. Eric, it’s worth waiting for your comic. I think Devon is in denial about how she treated Annabel. I don’t think Devon is evil, but she’s got her priorities wrong. Even if they weren’t getting back to being a couple again, she ruined a potentially lasting friendship by her ill-considered choice. Annabel made an effort to be friendly and was completely let down through no fault of her own.

  4. Devon isn’t ready for any kind of commitment to anything, plain and simple. I think ChrisH and Corey C covered just about everything else.

Also, I’m with Emrys and Gorbi on this page. Let the girls fight if they want, but take care of what’s more important first…breakfast. 😀

  5. Devon definitely fucked up, yes. But I think that it’s also worth keeping in mind that the thing that seems to have started the drama at the bar was Annabel leaving. Only then did the rest of the group object to Tori joining them at the table. And I really doubt that Devon had sex on mind when she invited the two to sit down.

    1. i disagree. Annabel left because Devon stopped talking to her mid-sentence to stare at Tori. (1060-61, for reference.)

      1. Oh yea, I agree with that. 🙁 But Devon doing that wasn’t really unfriendly towards Annabel. It was insensitive and definitely not lover-like, but they’re not lovers anymore. And it’s not like Annabel didn’t have a say in that. I guess that it’s hard for me to put blame on a single person when I see mistakes of various degree being made by most people involved. And everyone’s behaviour so far has been totally understandable, including Devon and Annabel and their friends.

I love that this comic makes me really think about such things!
