There’s no way he won’t be a convivial companion!

Bostons tend to be good company, especially with people who treat them well.

I like them too. My friend has one who then became the inspiration for this dog.

I’m predicting that one of the group will stare into this dog’s eyes & say:
” … Mark … izzat YOU?”
“Have _ You _ RETURNED??!?”
( … “burp” … )

Hah! That would have been a good idea.

Jeff might, were he to consume much more than his vair share of ethanol.

These people do NOT know how to camp. I’m not a camper, and even I know that you don’t keep food in your tent. Put it in a bag, throw a rope over a limb of a tall tree, and haul it up off the ground. That way it doesn’t attract animals.

No. They really don’t. They are mostly city folk who, on occasion, camp out. Much like me, who, once a long time ago strung our trash up a tree (oh…maybe seven feet up) and later was greeted by a bear at three in the morning rummaging through it for a late night snack. Good times.
Brother Parvus
Do not take fresh food (especially meats or cheese or milk or butter) into bear country for more than a day’s visit. If you have sealed dried meats be sure that they’re in individual servings and that their containers are safely combustible, and burn them when they’re empty.
Brother Parvus
… safely, that is…
