Maybe this will open up Emrys’ eyes to how Stephanie is manipulating him…?
Also, Mr. Clements, in the third panel, in Jack’s third dialog bubble, you wrote, “Make a plan and LIFE with it.” I think you meant, “Make a plan and LIVE with it.”
Thanks again for the great story, artwork, and characters!
While I agree with Jack almost absolutely, and I understand why he’s blowing Emrys off when it comes to changing his situation (believe me I do, age can definitely slow you down), I can’t help but also agree with Emrys that he shouldn’t give up entirely. Time may not be on his side, but Jack has experience and skill, both of which shouldn’t be discounted. There is compatibility between generations where one benefits from the strengths of the other, and it’s the responsbility of both the young and the old to look out for each other. Wisdom is hard won and should be respected, and the vitality and optimism of youth should be encouraged and guided with that wisdom so that it can live to gather it’s own. Life is what you make of it, but it’s a lot easier when you have people to care for, and who care for you in return, to keep you going.
Take his advice, Emrys, but don’t give up on Jack yet. 🙂
Yup. That’s him. I’m very fortunate to say I actually went to his house and met him!! :O (For the full story of that, read the blog at the bottom of Episode 16)
