Stay strong, Beth, and don’t let them talk you into falling for that cretin’s offer, no matter how bad it gets.
This is one of those times when I feel most strongly about being in her corner, because she’s getting uninformed advice. Beth knows the most important reason why the offer is poisoned fruit – Rich is not trustworthy – and sometimes that’s all you need to know to make an informed decision.
Oh, and I’ll definitely have to check out the music recommendation.

I hope Beth finds some other establishment where she will get paid “mad tips.” Anything to evade the Rich creature.

Thanks for all the comments. No spoilers on my end so you’ll just have to wait and see how it all plays out. But I will say this-you should have some definitive resolution one way or another by the end of this book/chapter.
