Hot diggity! Beth, you continue to surprise me even though I know you’re a smart cookie and have an extensive history with this guy, so you know how he operates. What remains to be seen is how this will proceed and whether it will make any difference with Emrys in the near future. If I had to bet though, my money would be on Beth if she’s set her sights on winning him over. 😉
… ok, I really didn’t see this coming. There was NO hint that she knew about Rich’s plan. I guess the confrontation with Stephanie made her a whole lot more perceptive of false promises and manipulation.
Oh there were hints. Compare the guy Rich paid off on page #627 to the guy Shannon and Dave went to on page #681. And they’re bursting with news just a few pages later on #684. It’s all there.
