943 Letting off the Gas

With just a little over one week to go, the Kickstarter is 75% funded. Let's hope things go well and we are able to pull it off this time!

As for poor Dave...well...

  1. Valiy lemonchik, frayer! (Eat a lemon, bastard, bandits in STALKER when throwing grenade)

  2. Well, at least she ripped the bandaid off quickly instead of letting things slide for weeks or months. :-/

  3. Uh-oh, Dave. After the shit life has thrown at you (and the shit you’ve inflicted on yourself), and the way your mood has been spiraling downward lately, I can see you reacting very badly to this news once it penetrates. Please don’t do something you’ll regret.

  4. It seems like Dave is the most luckless character (unless we count Mark.) Well, I hope he’s philosophical- no one gets everything one wants.

    1. I don’t think It’s luck actually. This is the logical ending to Dave’s choices. In life.

  5. Oh, boy….

Dave, you need to see this as a sign. When a young woman like this has more emotional maturity than you, you have got some growing to do. And to quote the late, lamented Jason Cullinane, “This must be growing up. Nothing else hurts this bad.”

  6. Aaaand we are in. Target is FULFILLED!!!

  7. As I suspected, Beth clearly has nothing to be worried about, because Katie grew bored of Dave and was going to dump him on her own. Really the only thing that could ruin this would be for Beth to storm up to both of them, tell Dave to stay the hell away from Katie, which would then cause Katie to naturally double down on the idea of dating Dave, even though in reality Dave isn’t a catch in the slightest. (Still better than Tom, but, of the core group of friends, he’s the one I like the least.)

Beth, please don’t interfere. Dave is about to be taught a VALUABLE lesson on signals.
