Wow, their ride got there that quick? Nice service.
Apparently Emrys missed the detail where they said he “died at the scene”. Understandable under the circumstances.
I hope when the dust settles and Mrs. McKrakkin hears about it, she can at least shed some light on where he got the gun so they aren’t left wondering.

Emrys either missed it or didn’t want to believe it, but yeah, trauma has a way of making you forget things.
(And as for Lyft, Portland has great service. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes even at three in the morning.)
