Well, he got her laughing and he’s clearly shown his interest in her, so from what I’ve heard he “knows what he’s doing” to attract a woman. Still don’t know whether he’s a creep or just a smooth operator, but I’m hoping to be surprised. Either way, Shannon appears to be going into the situation with her eyes open. Hopefully that means she’s not just thinking with her libido.

As I said before, the way to a stripper’s heart is through tacos. I’m still betting he’s just buttering her up before getting super controlling of her after they sleep together, but I do see his appeal considering Shannon’s other dates have been TERRIBLE and she’s been questioning if she can find anyone who can treat her with an iota of politeness and respect.
If only Beth were here, then she could call Shannon out on doing the exact thing Shannon called Beth out for in Vegas- allowing herself to be swooned into bed by a guy she just met. Granted, their situations are a little different (Beth had been flirting with Emrys all trip up to that point and Shannon has basically been a nun since Mark died) but Robert and… my god, Beth’s guy was ALSO named Robert?…are working the same routine.
Damn, knowing they have the same name makes me wonder if Beth’s Robert got plastic surgery and went to get revenge on Beth by seducing Shannon, but it hasn’t been THAT long since the Vegas trip and Beth’s Robert would still be all bandaged up at this point if he had.
Hahaha! No. No plastic surgery here. And up until you just mentioned it, I had totally forgotten that other guy was also called Robert. So, it’s and honest coincidence. And since it’s a pretty common name, it shouldn’t be very surprising. Thanks for reminding me though. I need to come up with better and more diverse names in the future.
