835 Hidden Charges

Two weeks to go on the Kickstarter...and I have stalled! I'm 56% of the way there. I know I can reach 100% but I need your help. If everyone that pledged on the first one  (which didn't make it) pledges this time around, it will be funded since I lowered the goal to just $2000. I really would love to see it happen but if it doesn't get funded this time around, I'm not sure I got it in me for a third time any time soon. I've nearly completed the book itself with extra stuff like commentaries, remastered artwork in spots, never before seen bonus illustrations I drew before I even started the comic and much more. I'm working on the all new illustrations for the bookmark as well. If you are a long time reader, I know you'll enjoy all the extras this Kickstarter has to offer.     Well, be careful what you wish for, Dave. In Vegas, accepting a dance from a house girl could make you walk out literally without your shirt. Be thankful she’s not a celebrity feature dancer!

    Poor Dave, being afraid of his normal desires must be pure torture for him, and it makes me, how well is he going to cope with the experience later?ust hope he escapes in one e (and wi ruiniousthot a debt) and the gang doesn’t give him a bad time. I don’t think it’s likely, but he may be off strip clubs for the rest of the night, or even longer, and I couldn’t (and wouldn’t) blame him for it.

      I’m sure Dave will get through this. Maybe lighter in the wallet. But knowing Dave, that won’t stop him from going to another strip club.

    I notice that the drinks must have cost over $20 each, so it must be the inflation I keep hearing about on public radio. 😉

      This was sort of taken from a time me and a friend went to Vegas just a few years ago (for a convention actually) where we got the weirdest vibe at a strip club like this and the drinks we’re easily 20 dollars a piece. Strange men in the shadows watching us and directing the girls to come to our table to persuade us a lap dance. I just embellished it a little for this side story here.

    OK, now you are really stretching beyond credibility, even for fiction. This totally breaks suspension of belief. There’s no way in hell that this scenario could happen or that they could have been stopped from just walking out in the first place or for them to put up with such crap.
