Okay. I'm going to level with you. This week has been pretty awful.
Not only has my day job been the worst it's ever been with a new operating system going into effect that doesn't work for shit, my health has suffered due to stress. But wait...there's more. I live in Portland where we now have hazardous air quality due to the fires going on just miles away. And school starts next week for my kids. Yup. 2020, the year that keeps on giving.
So what I'm trying to say is I'm working on the recent comics but as of this moment, I'm not sure if Monday's comic will be out on time. It may. It may not. we'll see. There may be a gap here and there in the next couple of weeks. Or maybe not. Just letting everyone know so you ain't surprised.
I'm hoping not. Mostly because I want to get to the good stuff in this storyline which would normally fall in about a month or so.

Heh, I feel you about the fires and the smoke. Stay safe comic man, and I’m sure we’ll understand any interruptions

Raging good HEPA filter air cleaners are not just for covid, I wish the one at home was bigger. I don’t hear any complaints about the “constant” rain in pdx right now, I wonder why? Make sure you have an escape route. I love all our trees, but places I’d never imagine are burning. The area your travelers are going through is a poignant reminder of what’s being lost. Pray for rain.

Rain on Tuesday. Smoke blew out to sea, now it’s gotta blow back through to the east, then we get clear air. My kids are out of the house, so their Covid-vectorness is from different bubbles. Hope the schooling thing settles into a workable grind. Thanks for the stories, nice to see some left-edge representation in the workaday comics.

We certainly understand if there will be a delay for the next comic. Heck, weโre glad BN is still running. Re todayโs episode, the canine theme continues, and Dave is back to being his clueless self. ๐

My kids have been back to school for a little while now and I’m lucky to get anything done. I’ll be happy to see a new comic whenever it’s ready.

take all the time you need, real life comes first

Annabel, you are neglecting Devon really dangerously.
And Eric, take whatever time you need. I also heard about some heavy riots in Portland, OR. So please, stay safe. Greets from Czech Rep.

Do not trust for-profit news media any farther than you can fact-check them.

I am trying, do prdele ๐ (Dr. Radek Zelenka, Stargate Atlantis)

I loved Dr. Zelenka from SG:A! He was a good foil for McKay, just not quite as good as Carter, but she always had the edge. ๐

I live down here in Albany so we’re getting all that smoky goodness as well. Do what you gotta to keep yourself and your family safe and healthy, we can always rebuild and replant the forests

DUDE. You just hang in there. Do what you need to do.
“2020, the year that keeps on giving” Pretty much. Spotted in the wild, “This week’s been a long year.” HEAR THAT.

Thank you. I’m trying.

I sort of assumed that the hurt feelings would carry on for awhile, but I am surprised to see Shannon recover that quickly; it’s a compliment to her character, especially considering the circumstances.
