Well crap, I can see one reason why that went south. Starting a relationship while doing drugs? I know it’s probably not inherently a problem, but imparing your judgement at the outset doesn’t seem like a sensible thing to do, hormones and crushes notwithstanding. Then again, what do I know? I never attended, nor cared about, school dances and the like.
