#700 Behind the Curtain

Congrats to Mirth for figuring it out and laying out the pieces of the puzzle. Consider yourself BN No-prized. Also...700! Which is like, 64 in human years. Which is...what I feel like these days.

  1. I didn’t think Shannon and Dave’s storyline intertwined with Beth and Rich’s so perfectly. What a twist.

Question I now will ask: Did Shannon actually buy the drugs or did she leave as soon as she found out about Rich’s scheme?

I’m sure Beth will now kick out Rich now that he’s been exposed. But what’s going to happen now with her and Emrys?

This single strip opens way more doors than it closes!

Shannon and Dave did appear kind of fucked up when they got back to the house…so…

  2. That it does, I just hope Emrys doesn’t do anything rash like self harm, move back home, or worse, go back to Steph.

    1. I guess the worst that Emrys can do to himself is turning his blood into ethanol ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. nice twist, love it – – just don’t let Emrys go back to Steph

  4. Bragging took out the worst things so far. Now manipulation by Rich and Shannon fucking with Dave at New Year party.

I am also curious if Beth will keep her new job. And how long would Emrys hold a Grudge against Beth.

  5. I know I should be staying on topic, but all that I can think of right now is that I hope Dave and Shannon didn’t use the heroin. They don’t need any more life/health ruining habits. ๐Ÿ™

    1. I’d say Dave is quite used to drugs. Which is rather surprise for me, cuz the most used drug among metalheads is beer. At the other hand, I’m afraid that for Shannon it is part of her selfdestruction. That plus her job, which she takes from the worst side.

  6. Eric, I don’t know what exactly means age 64 to you. My Grandpa was quite active when he was 64 ๐Ÿ™‚ Age is just a number (Yeah, I know it’s easy to tell that when I am just nearly 33 ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. I have a decade plus on you, but I can say that it definitely feels like a downhill slide from 30 on up. Granted, I’m not in the best shape or health, but it’s like Indiana Jones said in ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’, “It’s not the years, it’s the mileage”. Lack of sleep should count as mileage, if you ask me, and that’s something “older” people often have to deal with since their bodies aren’t as resilient as young folks. That being said, I agree in principle that your mental attitude about your age is important. ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. I was just taking in mind, that my Grandpa was quite active and fit till his middle of 70ยดs. After all, he died three years ago at age 87(stroke).

  7. I like the plot twist. (And I’m thinking of “Dirty Deeds (Done Dirt Cheap)” by AC/DC. ๐Ÿ™‚
