766 Emrys and Beth

It's funny.  When I decided to have Jojo read some dumb magazine last comic I didn't realize just how much it would become the topic of conversation. You see, most motels I've visited have had the stupidest magazines around so I thought I would offer the same for the comic. So I did a search of the strangest magazines out there and came up with these actual REAL gems. The first being the winner that I would slip in the comic: Although this one came a close second... This next one may have hit too close to home considering the type of cast we have.... And finally there was this one that was just too odd even for me...

  1. Eric, have you ever heard about Rule 34? 🙂

    1. It’s probably best not to bring up rule 34 in a comment section featuring a magazine about sheep!

      1. I meant general idea, not that current sheep topic. And I also listen to Gore metal, grindcore and porngrind, so nothing surprise me 🙂

        1. I cannot fault your refined taste in music

I have not heard of Rule 34.
(I also have not heard of rules 1-33 either)

  2. Beth is teasing Emrys. She knows he’s a nice guy, so he won’t respond in a negative way to her.

  3. The penultimate panel illustrates your well-discriminated[0] touch; they’re not actually touching, but their hands are close. My belovéd and I were in a shop{pe} together and when we checked out the clerk, wide-eyed, said, “Oh, you don’t cling!”

[0] sensitivity, not-too-much and not-too-little, all that stuff.

  4. I have long since had to come to a place of equilibrium with “if it’s out there, it’s out there… and someone’s into it.”

  5. Sadly Girls and Corpses ceased publication a few years ago IIRC.

They all look like magazines Mark Trail might be writing for now, though!
