   Reminds me of when I was living in China. Most of the foreign single guys I knew had Chinese girlfriends. Chinese girlfriends can be extremely possessive, extremely clingy and insecure.

   Many a time when would go out with our foreign and Chinese co-workers would go to a bar after work for a few drinks, the GF’s would constantly text them every five minutes, asking when they would be home. The guy could give them a specific time, but even after telling them they would continue to text and ask when they will be home. I’ve seen many a break-up happen because after a while they guy gets tired of it and call it off.

   Even then, even if the guy has a new GF, the ex one will come to his home, his workplace or constantly call or text telling him she wanted him back.
