So there are enough hands for holding a van, while Mateo will change a tire

Very sunny sky and brown hills, yup, it looks just like central California. I hope there’s no rattlesnakes.

“The jack I have only ‘kinda’ works”
I used to roll like that, till it got me stuck on a forest road a day’s hike from the nearest town. And unfortunately I didn’t have enough people with me to try Gorbi’s idea

I always tended to avoid the west side, except for an occasional visit to the former Army airfield near Crows Landing for an air show. There’s much better access to services to the east on old US99 through places like Turlock and Fresno.
So remind me where they’re going, so I can imagineer a route for them.

“Shower?”
Dammit, Annabelle, get your mind out of the gutter!
So is Emrys staying behind for Shannon’s sake? He’s looking directly at her when saying he’ll stay.

@CoreyC If I were Emrys, I’d be looking at Shannon too.
