836 Life’s Ride

Well, we did it! It looks like this time around the Kickstarter is a go! It crossed over the funding threshold this weekend and now we're in Stretch Reward territory. Thank you each and every one who contributed to it. I'm very excited to finally get this project off the ground. There's still twelve days left so who knows what will happen. I've set up a stretch goal of adding all new exclusive material in the book. If we make it to $3000, then three extra pages. $4000 will yield 5 extra pages, $5000 will yield 7 extra pages... So what would be the extra pages? It seems when I was going through some of the old material to compile the book, I came across a rough draft of a story I never used. It was written about the time those early comics were made and I think it would be a great fit to do. It focus on Emrys (still in the 'friend-zone') who helps Beth get her car back from an impound yard. The story could be expanded and I'd love to revisit that more innocent time with Emrys and Beth. So that's the possible stretch goal. Maybe others too. I'm taking it day by day. One thing is for sure, the first actual book is going to happen. Thanks to you!

  1. Iโ€™d check out the rock artifacts too! Jeff and Joanna both have the right idea- theyโ€™re actually having fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. At least someone. Letยดs see how Beth will end.

  2. Yes! This is such a welcome respite, Eric, thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚

I love Jeff & JoJo, and I figured from the start, when she reacted positively to his goofiness, that his easy-going, fun-loving nature would get their friendship off to a good start. Whether it becomes more than that, I don’t know, but having a friend like JoJo can’t be bad for anyone. ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, absolutely love JoJo in the bottom left hand panel, she’s so cute I just want to give her a big hug! I know Emrys and Beth are the show piece in this arc, but I really love stepping out of the drama for a bit for some good clean fun with these two. ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, woohoo! Congratulations on the successful Kickstarter, Eric! ๐Ÿ™‚
