    Shannon, you should just say: “You two are made for each other. I wish you the best for the future” and instead there is always a shadow in your eyes.

    “….don’t keep secrets from each other…” Just a bit of foreshadowing….. Just like a big fat fastball down the middle of the plate. The question isn’t will it leave the park, but when will it land.

    I think Emrys has the right of it, so even if Shannon means well, she should try to give them the benefit of a doubt. Now give them both a hug and be a positive influence on them so they have a better chance of working it out, because more than likely they’ll need your support at some point down the road and you’re in a good position to help. 🙂

    Emrys and Beth could actually benefit from the advice Shannon is giving them. She experienced the wreckage that keeping secrets and engaging in activity you know will hurt your BF or GF first hand and just wants her friends to avoid her mistakes. People would do well to heed the words of those with first hand experience.
