And now for something completely different

And a little lighter. So yeah. I bet you were expecting another installment of sadness as we slog through the departure of Mark story line. Well, hopefully today's sneak peek of the upcoming Deflectors issue #3 will lighten your spirits and put a spring in your step. As I suspected, I am under a crush of other commitments (mostly at home) to finish up so I'm taking one of my two weeks off that I take each year. I need to finish these projects around the house and I need to catch up on the comic itself, so it's really not much of a vacation but it needs to be done. The good news is with this done, I shouldn't have to take any more breaks until this story line comes to a close at #600 -sometime by the end of the year. Okay. With that out of the way I just want to say how much I've enjoyed collaborating on the third issue of the Deflectors with my old, old friend, Andy MacPhee. As you can see by these few pages he has out did himself on this issue. -And these are not even the best pages in the comic. I really enjoyed writing these stories as well. We're both getting into the groove with the new material and it shows. (Patrons of Patreon will also receive a bonus page I drew sometime next week, too. -Not to mention $5 and higher patrons will also get a free copy when available!) It's at the printers now and should be ready for it's grand unveiling at Rose City Comic Con next month. It will also be available to buy at my Store Front.  (Along with the first 2 issues. And convention goers can expect special 3 pack bundle deals as well.) Oh! and look for us BOTH in Tacoma for Jet City Comic Con Nov. 3-4th!!! Okay....I will be back next Monday with new Bohemian Nights episodes as well as new Bohemian Nights: Midnight Edition and Greenman pages that following week.

  1. HA! I’m looking forward to another zany adventure from the world’s most ineffectual super heroes. 😀

So you’ll be in Tacoma in November, eh? I’ll have to see if I can make that trip since it’s a lot closer than Portland. 🙂
