    Well done, sir. Not only was that a great plot twist… it’s extremely relatable from the male perspective, and that’s all I’ll say.

      You’re right. I think I used that incorrectly. My apologies. I’m old but I’m trying to catch up with younger definitions and slang. –which was obviously a mistake. I should have just said straight woman. I’ll probably change that this week.

          i took Friday off so we could go to a protest of DeDantis’s visit to Peoria. probably 1/4 of the crowd was trans- and 3/4 cis- (at a completely unsupported guess), and it seems like things like this are my family’s “new normal”!

          Good for you! I hope you gave him hell. DeSantis is an idiot, and cruel and dangerous. Sometimes I just find it hard to believe that people can’t be who they are without someone trying to force their beliefs down their throat.

      Grace, don’t forget to add to that, the fact that women (as you know) are more giving. So straight men tend to take it for granted that, even if there isn’t going to be full on intercourse, there will be something and it’s up to the lady to provide it. It is extremely rare that a man will want to give his lady an ‘O’ when he’s not going to get one.
      (guys please don’t be upset, but this is just personal experience speaking, your milage may vary.)

    And there’s the punchline I expected. 🙂 Honestly though, I wouldn’t be surprised if Jeff was subconsciously holding back because he likes her more than he realizes at this point, otherwise he probably wouldn’t have offered. All conjecture on my part, but I think Jeff, while crude from time to time, is actually better than average when it comes to how he treats women in general.

      Believe it or not, I’ve known some people that just don’t reciprocate. I find it very odd.

    Maybe it’s just as well. Sometimes what seems like bad news turns out to be good. This way, she won’t get an unwanted pregnancy (again).
